Liner notes: The creative activities of Japanese composers are active, including the early works of Western songs composed by Japanese people, such as ``Shishiro no Tsuki'', school songs ``Oborozuki Yoru'' and ``Koto'', as well as nursery rhymes and songs. The exhibition features works from 1918, when it first became popular, to around 1926, as well as well-known old works, as well as some relatively new works. This is a collection of all the charms of this performance, centered around the performance of the mandolin. The American fleet led by Berry destroyed Japan's dream of national isolation and led to the signing of the Treaty of Unfriendly Commerce in 1858, followed by the countries of Orania, Russia, England, and France. A treaty was concluded in accordance with this, and Japan opened its ports. Along with this, the arrival of Christian missionaries brought hymns to Japan, and especially after the 6th year of Meiji (1873) when Christianity was abolished, hymns became more and more popular, and Western music sung by the Japanese became popular. It became the forerunner of the song. In 1881 (Meiji 14), the Music Investigation Department published the ``Elementary School Song Collection,'' which included Japanese lyrics added to foreign songs. Later, ``Jinjo Shogaku Shoka'' was completed in 1914. This is the so-called ``Ministry of Education Song.'' Now, the era has come when Japanese songs, composed by Japanese people and by composers such as Rentaro Taki, are beginning to be sung in the form of Western songs and songs
