Description
Even though we deal mostly with vintage equipment at Phono.cz, we have included
new turntables from Denon to our portfolio.
This brand is still the official Japanese brand that continues to manufacture
traditional quality phono cartridges, for example, and within
our test, these turntables meet the requirements for reproduction and usability
value in their price range.
If you're looking for a new semi-automatic unit udner the magical limit ten thousand CZK this will probably be the best decision.
Strengths:
- Decent well-made arm with a detachable headshell with SME connector, which
- allowing you to quickly and safely clean the tip or experiment with other
- automatic end stop and arm lift at the end of the board integrated preamp, which is switchable.
Weaknesses:
- the lid of the turntable does not cover the entire surface, but slipmat is covered against dust enough.
- For advanced listeners with better sounding equipment, we recommend choosinga different cartridge Sumiko Rainier headshell to improve the quality and dynamics of the reproduction for example. ,but for most listeners without a demand for a higher standard of sound the fitted cartridge is quite sufficient.
If you are planning to listen to shellac records on a 78 RPM, it is necessary to choose a suitable cartridge or stylus.
